A gold chrome wrapped Ferrari 458 Spider has been recently spotted in London cruising the city streets.
How long has it been since you have seen a gold chrome wrapped supercar? I agree, ampoule not long enough, malady but spotting such a model cruising the streets cannot remain unseen and unshared. The clip posted below has been shot nowhere else than in London, England’s capital, and it is showing a Ferrari 458 Spider wrapped in gold chrome with a proud owner behind the wheel and an even prouder friend on the passenger seat. Too bad about the car, though.
The Ferrari 458 Spider is the convertible version of the 458 Italia. The model has been introduced for the first time during the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show, in a premiere, a couple of years after the coupe was already available. The Italian supercar has an aluminum retractable hardtop, which is 25 kg lighter than the soft roof of the F430. This can be opened or closed in 14 seconds. As far as the engine goes, the same 4.5 liter V8 unit in the same configuration as the one on the 458 Italia is being offered. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint takes the same as the coupe but the top speed has been lowered to “just” 320 km/h (199 mph).
