What is believed to be a hardcore version of the Pagani Huayra has been caught on camera recently, on the track, while it was being tested out.
We were expecting to see a Pagani Huayra Roadster in the months to come so we were surprised to see that the Italian based brand is currently working on what seems to be a hardcore variant of the supercar. The model in question is nothing more than a simple prototype at this point and we can notice, besides its camouflaged body, a massive carbon fiber rear wing. The vehicle will be faster and more powerful than the current Huayra and it has been spotted recently at the San Martino del Lago track, in Italy.
Chances are we will see, besides the slightly updated body and the massive wing, a modified interior design as well. Don’t act too surprised if Pagani will decide to strip the cabin entirely in order to save weight, but this hasn’t been confirmed at this point. The same 6.0 liter V12 Mercedes-AMG engine will be found under its hood, but this will be upgraded to approximately 800 HP. Keep in mind that the unit is currently rated at 720 HP (539 kW) and 1,100 Nm (811 lb-ft) of torque, and it is allowing the Huayra to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.0 seconds and a top speed of 370 km/h (230 mph). Chances are that we will see this “Pagani Huayra S” at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, in March, 2016.
