A video with the brand new Ferrari 458 Speciale revving its engine has recently made its way onto the web and, to be honest, we wanted to share the sound of the 4.5 liter V8.
When talking about brand new supercars developed by Ferrari, most people think that the F12 Berlinetta, with its front mid-engine and rear-wheel drive layout, or the first ever hybrid developed in Maranello, the LaFerrari, are the newest ones, but we have to be the ones to tell you that you’re wrong. The Ferrari 458 Speciale is the newest creation to be signed by the Italian based car manufacturer.
The Ferrari 458 Speciale has been officially presented to the public back in September 2013, during the Frankfurt Motor Show. The model in question is the spiritual successor of the 360 Challenge and the F430 Scuderia. Power is being provided by the same 4.5 liter V8 unit, found on the 458 Italia and 458 Spider. The total output produced stands at 597 HP and the peak torque at 398 lb-ft. The 0 to 100 km/h acceleration is made in just 3.0 seconds. You can check out the 458 Speciale revving its engine in the clip posted below.
