The Hennessey Velociraptor is arguably – again, the Texas tuner manages to outdo itself – one of the hottest off-road vehicles available on the US market, trumping the work of Ford Performance on the regular Raptor.
And no one is going to argue with you saying the standard F-150 Raptor is a bad truck… but Hennessey went out and further raised the suspension while power under the hood jumped to 600 horsepower. It turns this is clearly something very capable of a work-week long job and then an all-out adventure during the weekend. Hennessey even goes as far as messing up his own site to prove it – the modified 2018 Hennessey VelociRaptor 600 Ford Raptor truck seemingly destroys the tuner’s own proving grounds.
The model shown by the tuner gone automaker with the Venom F5 is equipped with Hennessey’s Off-Road Stage 1 Package with 20-inch 10-spoke wheels using 35-inch Toyo off-road tires, front suspension leveling kit, and five additional LED lights in the front bumper. Naturally, the model is not for everyone – a mere 100 examples will be produced and sold for this model year, each unit tested on the dyno and a further more 200 miles on the road and outside of it.
