The upcoming Honda Civic Type R has been partially previewed in yet another video as the model is just a few days away from its official unveil, at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.
With the 2015th edition of the Geneva Motor Show coming in with fast paces and brand new cars being unveiled almost every day, Honda couldn’t stay away from this “game” and so the newest teaser of the upcoming Civic Type R has been released onto the web. The brand new hot hatch will have the tough job of going up against some of the biggest names in the segment which include the Ford Focus RS, the Renault Megane RS Trophy, the Volkswagen Golf R, the Mercedes A45 AMG and so on.
The 2016 Honda Civic Type R will easily stand out thanks to its aerodynamic body kit, which will make it instantly recognizable. The model in question will also receive a the new prominent rear wing, the large rear diffuser, the four tailpipe exhaust system and a fresh set of alloy wheels, to contribute to its looks and performance. Speaking about the performance, rumor has it that the new Japanese hot hatch will be taking its power from the 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine, which will be producing a total output of approximately 320 HP. More details on the brand new model are limited at this time and will be announced at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, on the 3rd of March, when this will be unveiled.
