The Japanese based automaker Honda has released a new commercial video for the CR-V model, where “Grandma” has the main role.
We didn’t hear anything from the latest Honda CR-V for quite some time now and after the model had a commercial for this year’s Super Bowl, being affected by a couple of recalls on the way, the Japanese crossover is once again highlighted and its now trying to “forget” its past. The car manufacturer has released a new promotional video with the CR-V, but in our opinion, “Grandma” should have been behind the wheel in the crossover because it just suits her.
The new generation of the Honda CR-V is powered by the 2.4 liter i-VTEC four-cylinder engine, which is producing a total output of 185 horsepower and it has a peak torque of 163 lb-ft. The 2012 front-wheel drive Honda CR-V is returning 23/31 mpg in city/highway while the all-wheel drive models are rated at 22/30 mph in city/highway.
The 2012 Honda CR-V is available at your local dealers and the entry-level version LX, with two-wheel drive and the five-speed automatic transmission has a starting price of 22,295 USD. The top of the line EX-L, with all-wheel drive and Navi, along with the same gearbox, has been price at 29,795 USD.
