The hotter version of the current Mercedes-AMG GT, the AMG GT Black Series, has been caught on camera once again while taking a lap on the Nurburgring.
The German based automaker Mercedes-Benz is planning on taking things to a whole new level with its high-performance model, the AMG GT, by introducing an even hotter version of it. We’re talking about the Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series which is currently in development. The clip posted below is showing the model in question in action on the famous German track, the Nurburgring, and even if it’s extremely short, you may want to plug in your headphones because this is your chance to hear its updated engine.
This isn’t the first time when spy photographers manage to get a glimpse on the so-called Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series and the model in question is expected to come with an even more aggressive body kit, which should be making it instantly recognizable. Expect a large rear wing, a new front splitter, the Black Series badging, some tweaks made to the cabin and, of course, the modified engine. The 4.0 liter twin turbo V8 unit, currently found on the regular AMG GT and also on the C63 AMG, will be kept, but this will be significantly updated in order to produce more than the one in the AMG GT S, which is capable of putting down 503 HP (375 kW) and 650 Nm (480 lb-ft) of torque.
