The trio of hypercars, the Ferrari LaFerrari, the McLaren P1 and the Porsche 918 Spyder, have hit the track simultaneously, at Silversone.
The three carmakers may not come to an agreement in order to decide which is faster between the aforementioned vehicles but now, thanks to deliveries and wealthy customers, some questions about these hypercars may be answered. The clip posted below is showing us the Ferrari LaFerrari, the Porsche 918 Spyder and the McLaren P1 for the very first time on the track together and the even has been held in collaboration with Horsepower Racing. The lucky attendees have taken charity rides in the trio which is actually owned by Paul Bailey.
The video may not be showing us a classic comparison between the three rare and impressive rides but this is still the first time ever when these vehicles have been taken to the track, so hopefully it will be the start of a new “era”. The Ferrari LaFerrari is, on paper, the one with the most horsepower, thanks to the 6.3L V12 and the electric motor, producing a total of 950 HP and 900 Nm of torque. This is followed by the McLaren P1, with its 3.8 liter petrol twin turbo V8 engine and the electric motor, rated at a total of 903 HP and 978 Nm of torque, and the Porsche 918 Spyder, getting a 4.6 liter V8 unit and two electric motors, generating 887 HP and an impressive 1,275 Nm of torque. All hypercars need less than 3 seconds to reach 100 km/h.
