[Video] Infiniti releases part two of the “Making of an F1 Car” – dubbed Composites
As we reported earlier, the Japanese automaker Infiniti and the Red Bull Formula 1 team joined hands in revealing some of the secrets behind the build of an F1 car with a three part video tutorial.
Since last week they released Part 1, now it’s time to witness the process in Part 2, dubbed Composites, which, as the name suggests, essentially involves some of the materials used in the manufacturing process.
Episode two, “Composites,” reveals the process the team uses to construct actual pieces of the car. Coming soon: learn about manufacturing, and finally discover how the build of the car itself takes place in the assembly bays of the Milton Keynes HQ.
According to a Wall Street Journal report, GM is selling its remaining stake in its former lending arm, Ally Financial Inc.
Officials with GM and Ally declined to comment. GM owned a 9.9 % stake in Ally at the end of September. The private placement deal is worth about $900 million, the newspaper ...
