Nissan has revealed the Note global model in a world premiere held at the Osanbashi venue in Yokohama.
The Nissan Note is a global vehicle which will enter the B-segment and the Japanese based automaker is bragging about its modern lines, specious interior, technological innovations, fuel economy, low CO2 emissions and dynamic performance. According to the car manufacturer, the Nissan Note is expected to become “the most user-friendly car in its segment” and the model will go on sale this autumn on its local auto market.
Nissan says that the new Note is getting a striking character line on its exterior design, which is known as the “Squash Line” and the vehicle has a distinctive front grille, while the headlamps and taillights have been described using words like “dynamism” and “sophistication”.
The Nissan Note will get a choice of two engines on its local auto market, the new supercharged HR12DDR (DIG-S) and the HR12DE, both of them mated to the next generation of the XTRONIC CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) on all grades, which will power the two-wheel drive. Nissan is saying that the new three-cylinder supercharged unit, with direct injection, is achieving a fuel economy of 25,2 km/L. More details on the new Nissan Note will be announced before its arrival on the local market in Japan.
