Jaguar has released a new clip with the upcoming F-Pace, which is being shown in some extreme weather conditions.
The British brand is close to giving birth to its first ever SUV, but before officially pulling the wraps off its body, the carmaker has to make sure that everything is in its right place and working just like it should, so testing various prototypes in different environments and extreme weather conditions is all part of the show. The clip posted below is showing the F-Pace in the snow and also in the desert, proving that it has what it needs in order to take on its main German rivals, and not only.
The first prototype of the F-Pace, unveiled by Jaguar, was used by Team Sky, as an assistance vehicle, during the 2015 Tour de France. The model is expected to make its public debut in more than a month, at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, in September, but don’t expect it in your local Jaguar dealerships earlier than 2016. Rumor has it that under its hood, a 3.0 liter supercharged V6 engine will be added, as this is believed to be rated at 340 HP. Besides this, the SVR version will also become available, with its supercharged V8 engine, producing as much as 550 HP. Over the next few years, the SUV will also get four-cylinder gasoline and diesel burners, along with an electric version. Additional details on the model are limited at this time.
