The Jaguar F-Type Coupe has been recently caught on camera while being tested on the track, ahead of its public debut scheduled for the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, in September.
The British based automaker Jaguar is currently working on the solid roof version of the F-Type roadster and the model has already been caught on camera by spy photographers these past few weeks. The most recent video in which the Jaguar F-Type Coupe is playing the main role, is showing the model in action on the track and if you want to hear its engine roar, all you have to do is scroll down and click play.
The Jaguar F-Type Coupe will most likely be offered with the same engines as its drop top brother, starting with the entry-level 3.0 liter supercharged V6, producing 340 HP (250 kW), going through the 3.0 liter supercharged V6 with 380 HP (279 kW) and ending with the 495 HP (364 kW) 5.0 liter V8. A more extreme version of the F-Type Coupe, the so-called R-S, is rumored to get more than 700 HP (522 kW), but this might hit the market in 2016. Meanwhile, a new entry-level variant, equipped with a 2.0 liter turbocharged 240 HP (177 kW) unit is also expected to be unveiled.
