Jaguar has released a first teaser video with the F-Type sports car ahead of its official debut at the 2012 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
After officially announcing its debut in a prototype version during the 2012 Goodwood Festival of Speed, the Jaguar F-Type is once again being placed into the spotlights, this time with the British based automaker releasing a first teaser video with the upcoming sports car, but, even so, the footage doesn’t reveal anything interesting so we still have to wait for the British automotive event in order to get a glimpse of the new F-Type.
According to the car manufacturer, the all-new Jaguar F-Type supercar will be powered by a 3.0 liter V6 supercharged engine which will develop a total output of 375 BHP and it will get a peak torque of 332 lb-ft. The final production version of the Jaguar F-Type will hit the market sometimes next year and, unlike the prototype, it will be powered by a 5.0 liter V8 engine, which will generate an impressive 503 horsepower and 542 lb-ft of torque. Unfortunately we don’t have any more details on the Jaguar F-Type for the moment but until the model will be presented at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in a prototype version, you can watch the teaser video below. Enjoy!
