The latest British crossover bodes well with the popular premium compact SUV segment, and Jaguar is keen on displaying all – and they think they’re many – of the model’s qualities in an extensive series of official videos.
We already like the marketing team from Jaguar – short and few teasers ahead of the introduction, an official reveal with another Guinness World Record just like it happened with the F-Pace and after the model has been unwrapped lots of explanations about the features of the newest model in the range. Jaguar’s “cub” – as they like to call it – is coming in as a major rival for the likes of Audi Q3, Mercedes GLA, and the BMW X1. The company says it didn’t shrink the “kids” nor the F-Pace and instead took inspiration from the sporty F-Type in designing the exterior of the new crossover.
The interior looks quite familiar – although the company says it learned from the criticism sent towards the XE and also bettered the layout also found in the F-Pace and the XF. There’s even enough space for 577 liters (20.4 cubic feet) of luggage, while high tech fans won’t have to complain. They’ll be greeted by a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, 4G Wi-Fi hotspot for up to eight devices, a new generation head-up display, and the 10-inch Touch Pro infotainment system.
