Famous musician Jay Kay has brought its newest ride, the green Ferrari LaFerrari, to the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed, where the supercar has managed to draw a lot of attention.
One of the hottest vehicles out there, the Ferrari LaFerrari, has become very appreciated with car collectors and one of the most famous ones, Jay Kay, has recently brought it to the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed. Jamiroquai’s lead singer has ordered his Italian hybrid supercar in an attractive green shade.
“I chose the green paint because it was different. We talked about it and I thought about silver, but the Enzo is black and green and this is green and black. It was just something I traditionally do. I like green cars, I like green interiors”, said Jay Kay when asked about his newest supercar’s color.
The Ferrari LaFerrari is the company’s most powerful model and also its first ever hybrid supercar. It was officially unveiled, in its final version, in 2013, during the Geneva Motor Show, and it will be produced in just 499 units. Each one will cost 1 million GBP and it will be powered by a 6.3L V12 engine and an electric motor, providing a total output of 950 HP (708 kW) and 900 Nm (664 lb-ft) of torque. The 0 to 100 km/h acceleration is made in less than 3 seconds and top speed stands at 350 km/h (217 mph).
