Famous petrol head Jay Leno has recently went for a spin in the brand new 2014 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28, and what came out can be seen in the video posted below.
The new Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 will go on sale next spring but that didn’t stop Jay Leno to take it for a spin. The Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 has been described as the most track-capable Camaro in the automaker’s history. The model in question is coming with an aerodynamic body kit, highlighted by the widened wheel arches, by the extended side skirts, the front splitter, the rear diffuser, the rear spoiler, the underbody paneling and the 19-inch alloy wheels, wrapped in Pirelli PZero Trofero R tires.
Power to the Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 is provided by a 7.0 liter V8 LS7 engine, which is producing “at least” 500 HP (373 kW), as the carmaker says, with a peak torque of 637 Nm (470 lb-ft). Jay Leno says that the Camaro Z/28 will cost more than the Camaro ZL1, which is priced from 54,350 USD. More details on the Z/28 will be announced close to its launch, next spring.
