Jay Leno’s Garage is entertaining us with a new video which is starring the all-new 2013 Scion FR-S sports car.
The famous TV presented and most of all petrol head, Jay Leno, has recently taken the Scion FR-S for a spin, and if you think that he walked into the showroom and signed in for a test drive, you’re wrong. The General Manager and Vice President of Scion, Jack Hollis, has stopped by Jay Leno’s Garage, and what came up can be seen in the video posted below. We don’t want to talk about it because almost everything we can tell you about it can actually spoil it.
As a quick reminder, the Scion FR-S is powered by the Subaru borrowed 2.0 liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder Boxer engine, equipped with Toyota’s D-4S direct injection system. The unit is developing a total output of 200 horsepower at 7,000 rpm and it has a peak torque of 151 lb-ft available at 6,600 rpm. According to the car manufacturer, the engine in the Scion FR-S can be mated to a six-speed manual transmission in standard or to a six-speed automatic as optional. The 2013 Scion FR-S has been recently launched in the United States and the Japanese sports car can be ordered across the country.
