[VIDEO] Jay Leno spotted driving the new Corvette Stingray Convertible image

Jay Leno has been recently spotted taking a spin in the brand new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible.

One of the most famous petrol heads out there, Jay Leno, has been recently spotted taking a spin in the new generation of the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible. Leno has driven the popular sports car during the Monterey Car Week 2013 and our guess is that the video of the test drive will become available soon on his official YouTube Channel, Jay Leno’s Garage.

The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is powered by a 6.2 liter V8 engine, the same one from the Coupe. The total output produced stands at 450 HP and 450 lb-ft of torque (609 Nm). Power is sent to the rear-wheel drive through an eight-speed automatic transmission or through a seven-speed manual. The 0 to 100 km/h spring in the Corvette drop-top takes less than 4 seconds. The new Chevrolet Corvette Convertible Stingray has been officially presented to the public back in March, during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, and it was also brought to the 2013 New York Auto Show, one month later.
