The famous American comedian and television host, Jay Leno has recently tested the Tata Nano in the United States, praising its air conditioning.
In the video posted below we can see a reporter picking up the Tata Nano in India and testing it in the Asian country, before being shipped to the United States, where the cheapest car in the world arrived in Jay Leno’s garage where it was welcomed by Indian dancers. Jay Leno apparently appreciates some of the features on the Tata Nano and it actually praised its air conditioning, saying that it’s better than the one on his McLaren F1.
As a quick reminder, the 2012 Tata Nano has been revealed last year in November and the model is being offered in the local market in three trim levels, the Standard, the CS and the LX. The Tata Nano is being powered by a 624 cc engine which is developing a total output of 38 horsepower, with improved mileage to 25,4 km/liter. The small vehicle has a choice of three exterior colors and it’s also adding tubeless tires, tip-tap driver’s side mirror, clear headlamps, booster assisted brakes and front suspension with anti-roll bar for the entry-level, while the CX is adding six colors and AC with heating (optional), and the LX has a 12V socket, cup holder, front power windows, central locking, body colored bumpers, fog lamps, rear spoiler, full wheel covers, electronic trip meters and tip-tap mirrors.
