[VIDEO] Jay Leno’s McLaren P1 arrives in the U.S. image

The McLaren P1 ordered by one of the most famous petrol heads out there, Jay Leno, has recently arrived in the United States and the keys will be soon handed over to him.

The McLaren P1 may have been officially presented to the public a year ago, during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, in a world premiere, but its appearance is still making quite a fuzz so the delivery of the hypercar which is belonging to Jay Leno couldn’t have went by unseen, especially if most of the process has been caught on camera.

McLaren is currently assembling the P1 in a limited number of 375 units and this is being offered in a two-door coupe body style, with a rear mid-engine and rear-wheel drive layout, weighing in at 1,395 kg (3,075 lbs). Power to this hybrid supercar is being provided by a 3.8 liter twin turbo V8 petrol burner, which is similar to the one used on the MP4-12C, 12C Spider, 650S and 650S Spider. The unit is rated at 727 HP (542 kW) and 719 Nm (531 lb-ft) of torque, backed up by an in-house developed electric motor, generating 176 HP (131 kW) and 260 Nm (192 lb-ft). The total output stands at 903 HP and 978 Nm of torque.
