The North American based automotive giant, Chrysler Group LLC, has released a new video with the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8, revealing some interesting driving footage.
According to the car manufacturer, the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 is coming with the Adaptive Damping Calibration sport suspension with active damper system which is operated through the traction control. The drive can select between five driving modes, the Auto, which makes the vehicle adapt to any road surface automatically, Sport, which provides a firmer suspension and handling, Tow, which is reducing roll movements and pitch in order to increase the towing capacity, Track, for the race day at your local track and Snow, for extreme weather conditions.
As a small reminder, the 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 is powered by the same 6.4 liter HEMI V8 engine, which is developing a total output of 470 horsepower and it has a peak torque of 465 lb-ft. The massive engine is allowing the Grand Cherokee SRT8 to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.8 seconds and run a quarter mile in about 13 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 160 mph.
