The famous Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson has bought himself a new toy, the Ferrari F355.
Jezza is a Ferrari guy obviously and after he was spotted in his Ferrari 458 Spider not too long ago, Clarkson went on and bought a classic Ferrari. But this isn’t what you’ve expected because Clarkson didn’t choose the F355 this year and, in fact, this is a reminder of what the motor world used to be two decades ago. The supercar in question is named the F355 and, according to Jeremy Clarkson, “is still the best car I’ve ever driven”. Clarkson has tested the Ferrari F355 in the mid 90s for the same Top Gear show and what came out of that can be seen in the video posted below.
As a quick reminder, for those of you who were Lamborghini fans back in those days, the Ferrari F355 was produced between 1995 and 1999 and it was replaced by the 360. The model came in three body styles, Berlinetta, Targa Top and Spider, with a rear-mid engine in the shape of the 3.5 liter 5-valve DOHC V8, mated to either a six-speed manual or a six-speed electrohydraulic manual. The F355 is 4,249 mm long, 1,900 mm wide and 1,171 mm tall. The supercar was designed by Pininfarina.
