Top Gear’s Jeremy Clarkson has been recently spotted while driving the brand new McLaren P1 in the United Kingdom.
Jezza is taking no spare time when it comes to testing new and expensive cars and one of the hottest vehicles ever made, the impressive McLaren P1, has caught his attention. Clarkson has been spotted testing the hybrid British supercar on roads in his home country and you can see a smile on his face while he’s turning the wheel, in the video posted below. We’re not sure yet if driving the P1 is part of a new Top Gear series or just a new DVD Jezza will release soon.
The McLaren P1 has been officially unveiled, in its final production version, back in March this year, during the Geneva Motor Show and, speaking of production, the supercar has hit the assembly line just recently. The McLaren P1 is powered by a 3.8L twin turbo V8 engine, backed up by an electric motor with 170 HP (132 kW) and 260 Nm of torque (192 lb-ft). The total output produced is 916 HP (674 kW) and 900 Nm (663 lb-ft) of torque. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint takes less than 3 seconds and top speed is limited to 350 km/h (217 mph).
