Chevrolet has released a new video with the 2014 SS, where the company’s marketing manager, John Fitzpatrick, is giving an official walkaround, during the 2013 New York Auto Show.
The brand new Chevrolet SS has been officially unveiled just a few weeks ago, but the model has made its public debut during the 2013 New York Auto Show. As a quick reminder, the 2014 Chevrolet SS is powered by a 6.2 liter V8 engine, which is developing a total output of 415 HP (309 kW) and it has a peak torque of 415 lb-ft (562 Nm). The model is just 35 HP (26 kW) and 35 lb-ft (47 Nm) of torque less powerful than the brand new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. The engine is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission, which is allowing the model to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in approximately 5 seconds.
