Like a famous character from a beloved TV series likes to say, it’s that time of year when “winter is coming” and thus alpine skier Jon Olsson – also a part-time social media star – has decided he’s going to sport a new ride in the garage… err, more like on top of it.
He’s that crazy dude that loves hypercar-level power in seemingly not so adventure oriented machines – such as an 850 hp supercharged Lamborghini Huracan, though on this occasion he does get sensible and chooses a proper off-road ride for his upcoming wintery shenanigans. His new ride is nicknamed Lord Hans, an homage to his brother “who loves explore the wilderness” and comes in the form of a bespoke Mercedes-Benz G500 4×4² with the trademark performance and styling mods.
The behemoth now has around 800 horsepower (597 kilowatts) via the Dutch tuners from Absolute Motors, and also flaunts a reworked suspension, new off-road tires, and a matching camouflage black body color with naked carbon fiber accents. The extensive light package, massive protective bars at the front, wires keeping the bars, and custom Brabus carbon fiber snorkel means he can take the G just about anywhere – and we’re pretty sure he’ll think of a crazy location to test his new creation soon.
