Famous racing driver Ken Block has attended the 2015 Goodwood Festival of Speed with his impressive Hoonicorn RTR.

The Hoonicorn RTR is coming back in another video as it has been attending the 2015th edition of the Goodwood Festival of Speed. The one-off drift car has hosted none other than Ken Block himself behind the wheel as the famous racing driver has put on quite a show. The clip posted below is showing us that even the most experienced driver can have a bad day sometimes as Ken Block has almost crashed his vehicle. Happily, the model hasn’t suffered any damages but it was a close call indeed.

As you may recall, the Hoonicorn RTR has been officially presented to the public back in late 2014, during the SEMA Motor Show. The model in question was the co-star of the Gymkhana 7 and it has been based on a 1965 Ford Mustang. The impressive ride is getting a tubular chassis, carbon fiber panels and 18-inch Fifteen52 wheels, wrapped around in Pirelli Trofeo R tires. The most important part of it is found under its hood where the 6.7 liter (410 cubic inch) engine is resting. This is a Roush Yates V8 which is capable of putting down a total output of 845 HP (630 kW) and a peak torque of 975 Nm (720 lb-ft), connected to a 6-speed manual transmission. Power is being sent to the one-off Sadev all-wheel drive system.
