The South Korean based automaker Kia has recently pulled the wraps off its latest creation, the Cub Concept, during the 2013 Seoul Motor Show.
After being teased just a week ago for the Asian automotive event, the Kia Cub Concept is now being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with its unveil during the 2013 Seoul Motor Show. The Kia Cub Concept has a new styling, the B-pillars are missing, the headlights feature two-point LED lights, inspired from the Quoris and the wheels are 19-inch in size.
“The new Kia Cub is a compact, four-door coupe created with a clear focus on driving performance and practicality. Styled to appeal to trend-setting urban dwellers, the Cub features a comfortable four-seater cabin which generates an emotional, feel-good response and delivers every day, real-world benefits”, said the senior executive vice president and COO at Kia, Thomas Oh.
The Kia Cub Concept is powered by the company’s new 1.6 liter GDI engine, recently confirmed for the Pro_Cee’d GT and Cee’d GT in Europe, which is coming with 204 PS and 265 Nm of torque, mated to a six-speed manual transmission in the hot hatches. Additional details on the Kia Cub Concept remain unknown for the moment.
