Fortunately, the dangerous situations are also humorous and the ad nicknamed Hero’s Journey will premiere on TV during the third quarter of the game. McCarthy is this time around a good-hearted person looking to help the world in her Kia Niro hybrid crossover.
Put to the driving beat of Bonnie Tyler’s I Need a Hero this light-hearted commercial works well – and hero and Niro are sound alikes, so we can see the song fitting the dealership as well when pitching the crossover. “For years, I’ve been trying to find the perfect project that combined the real threat of me breaking every bone in my body, with my desire to help save the environment. Thanks Kia,” said McCarthy.
