General Motors has recently released a new video with the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, in which the company’s exterior design manager, Kirk Bennion, is talking about the car.
The new generation of the Chevrolet Corvette remains an icon for the classic muscle car and after it was officially presented to the public during the 2013 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, back in January, is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the carmaker releasing a new video with the model. The footage posted below is showing Kirk Bennion, the Corvette exterior design manager, talking about the car.
As a quick reminder, the brand new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette is powered by the LT1 6.2 liter V8 engine, coming with CVVT and direct injection and producing a total output of 450 HP (336 kW) and 450 lb-ft of torque (609 Nm). This is enough to allow the model to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in less than 4 seconds. The convertible version of the Corvette will be unveiled next month, during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. More details on the 2014 Corvette will be announced close to its launch.
