The Koenigsegg One:1 has managed to break the lap record at SPA Francorchamps after it has been recently taken to the famous track.
Nurburgring may have banned lap records until the end of the year and with Koenigsegg looking to shatter them with the impressive One:1, disappointment was pretty high with the Swedish team. But until the famous German track will be lifting the ban, the megacar has been taken recently to the Spa Francorchamps, where it managed to set a new record after lapping it in just 2:32.14. This has been made during the day and Robert Serwanski, the driver, had to deal with the traffic on the circuit. The while lap has been caught on camera and it can be seen in the video posted below.
The Koenigsegg One:1 is the world’s most powerful vehicle. This has been officially presented to the public back in 2014, at the Geneva Motor Show, and since then it has been brought to a lot of events globally. It was even displayed with the hypercar trio, the Ferrari LaFerrari, the McLaren P1 and the Porsche 918 Spyder, last year, at the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed. The Koenigsegg One:1 is putting the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport into the shadows in terms of performance thanks to its 5.0 liter aluminum made engine, which is capable of putting down a total of 1,341 HP (986 kW) and 1,371 Nm (1,011 lb-ft) of torque. Top speed stands at 450 km/h.
