A Lamborghini Aventador supercar has recently burst into flames in California during a test drive.

According to the guys at autoblog.it, the Italian supercar in question has burst into flames for no obvious reason and the result was what you can see in the video posted below. The Lamborghini Aventador which spontaneously combusted is worth 376,000 USD or 289,000 euros.
As a reminder, the two-door, two-seater sports car is powered by a 6.5 liter V12 engine which is developing a total output of 690 horsepower and it’s being mated to a seven-speed single clutch transmission. The Italian automaker says that the Aventador can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and it has a top speed of 349 km/h (217 mph). According to the manufacturer, the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 is burning an average of 17.2 liters of fuel every 100 km (13.5 mpg) and the supercar is emitting 398 g/km of CO2. The suggested retail price in Europe for the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 is 255.000 EUR (379.700 USD).
