A Lamborghini Aventador Italian supercar has been filmed while accelerating up to 370 km/h (230 mph) on the Hockenheim.
The fact that the Lamborghini Aventador is an extremely fast supercar is no surprise for anyone but it seems that the Italian supercar can also hit an impressive top speed, as the German automotive journalists at Sport Auto are proving. As you can see in the video below, the Lamborghini Aventador has recently been tested and filmed by Sport Auto on the Hockenheim, where the supercar managed to hit a top speed of 370 km/h (230 mph), which is over 20 km/h more than what the automaker claims that the vehicle can do.
As a reminder, the two-door, two-seater sports car is powered by a 6.5 liter V12 engine which is developing a total output of 690 horsepower and it’s being mated to a seven-speed single clutch transmission. The Italian automaker says that the Aventador can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and it has a top speed of 349 km/h (217 mph). According to the manufacturer, the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 is burning an average of 17.2 liters of fuel every 100 km (13.5 mpg) and the supercar is emitting 398 g/km of CO2. The suggested retail price in Europe for the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 is 255.000 EUR (379.700 USD).
