Famed DJs around the world have a tradition going for some time already: if there’s a fresh supercar on the market, they want one – to complement the other spectacular cars in their private collections.
Talk about the perks of being rich and famous – you get the latest mind blowing supercar and all the world then talks about your move. That’s the case with 27-year-old Nick Van de Wall, widely known as Afrojack, as he recently took to his packed garage the latest lightning fast supercar – in this case the fresh Lamborghini Aventador Superveloce. He also decided to showcase the Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 Superveloce to the entire world after he bought it, with both among the main attractions during this year’s edition of the Amsterdam International Motor Show (AutoRAI), running April 17 through 26. Knowing the DJs lifestyle and past driving records, we’re pretty sure this video will be followed by some viral footage – his past two years brought us the viral of him going past the 200 mph mark in a Bugatti Veyron for fun and because he can. Than, just two years ago he dropped to the police the drivers’ license after pushing a murdered-out Lamborghini Aventador to the limit.
The Dutch DJ won’t have to push the pedal to the metal too much in his new Aventador SV, which dropped 50 kilograms (110 lbs) from the standard model and also decided to add instead another 50 hp to the astonishing 6.5-liter V12 to round up at 750 hp.
