The Italian based automaker is celebrating its 45th birthday in Japan these days with a special edition of the Gallardo named the Bianco Rosso.
According to the car manufacturer, a lot of Lamborghini supercars were presented in Tokyo during a party thrown by the company, from the classic Countach or 400GT to the newest model in its lineup, the Aventador. The star of the event was a special edition of the Gallardo, which was named the Bianco Rosso, which means White Red. The Lamborghini Gallardo Bianco Rosso is basically an LP560-4 and only 10 units will be available in Japan. The model is getting the 5.2 liter V10 engine which is producing 552 HO and 398 lb-ft of torque.
As a quick reminder, the newest supercar in Lamborghini’s lineup, the Aventador, which was also shown in Tokyo, is powered by a 6.5 liter V12 engine which is developing a total output of 690 horsepower and it’s being mated to a seven-speed single clutch transmission. The Italian automaker says that the Aventador can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and it has a top speed of 349 km/h (217 mph). According to the manufacturer, the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 is burning an average of 17.2 liters of fuel every 100 km (13.5 mpg) and the supercar is emitting 398 g/km of CO2. The suggested retail price in Europe for the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 is 255.000 EUR (379.700 USD).
