A less usual drag race between a Huracan and an Aventador has recently took place in a controlled environment.
Have you ever wondered which one is faster between the Lamborghini Huracan and the Lamborghini Aventador? Well, if you have, than the video posted below will not be providing you with a real answer considering the fact that the flagship supercar is not stock, but it has been upgraded. Even so, the speed difference between the two is not colossal and with the right driver behind the wheel, I’m pretty sure the Huracan can pull a surprise.
The Lamborghini Huracan has been officially presented to the public almost a year ago, during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. This is replacing the old Gallardo and it is offered, for the moment, in a single 2-door coupe body style, with the rear mid-engine and all-wheel drive layout. Power is being provided by a 5.2 liter V10 engine, upgraded from the one of the Gallardo, producing a total of 602 HP (449 kW) and 560 Nm (413 lb-ft) of torque, capable of reaching 100 km/h in 3.2s and going up to 325 km/h (202 mph).
The Aventador, on the other hand, has been around since 2011, when it was introduced at the same automotive event. The flagship supercar is coming as a replacement for the Murcielago and it has two body styles, coupe and roadster, and the same rear mid-engine and rear-wheel drive layout. Power is coming from a 6.5 liter V12 naturally aspirated unit, with 690 HP (510 kW) and 690 Nm (510 lb-ft) of torque. It needs 3s to reach 100 km/h an it can go all the up to 350 km/h (217 mph).
