Following no less than a year of work to revive this beautiful Lamborghini 350 GT, the stunning model is in pristine condition and looks ready to hit the racetrack once again.
Just by looking at the legendary 350 GT you might not pen it for a Lamborghini as the model was a small revival feat for the company – in times when the raging bull dream was not entirely alive. Fifty-two years later, one of the original 350 GT examples is getting a second chance in life – with chassis #0121 having passed through over 1,150 specialist hours on the body and interior, and 750 hours on the mechanics during the full restoration by Lamborghini PoloStorico. This car was among the first GTs produced, so it has certain original details that were common with the early prototypes.
The chassis and body panels were renewed to original proportions, alongside the braking system and the 3.5-liter V12 was also completely overhauled to like-new condition so it should again certify for 400 horsepower (298 kilowatts). The interior keeps the original black leather on the seats and door panels, while the wooden steering wheel, clutch, and brake pedals shine like new once more. After the restoration was completed the owner took commission and the car had its moment on the Autodromo di Modena to prove its worth.
