Lamborghini has released a new teaser video for Gallardo’s successor, the so-called Cabrera, which will be officially unveiled before Christmas.
The Italian based automaker Lamborghini is placing the Cabrera into the spotlights once again, this time with the company releasing a new teaser video for the model. The clip posted below has been dubbed “The Plan” and it’s following three friends who embark on a mission to break in the carmaker’s factory and see the Cabrera before anyone else. Sadly the carmaker isn’t showing us anything interesting, so we should wait for the new rear mid-engined supercar to be unveiled in order to see how it will finally look like
Rumors are saying that the new Lamborghini Cabrera will take its styling cues from its larger brother, the Aventador, and it should receive a new platform, which will still be shared with the one from the new Audi R8 generation. Despite the two vehicles sharing the same platform and some underpinnings, they are expected to handle differently. As far as power goes, the Cabrera is believed to get an updated 5.2 liter V10 unit under its hood, which will produce about 600 HP (447 kW). More details on the supercar will be announced before Christmas, when it will be officially unveiled.
