Lamborghini wanted to celebrate the company’s highlights of this year by releasing a video with all the special moments that marked these past 12 months.
The Italian supercar brand is very proud of its 2015 achievements and wanted to share with all of us some various highlights of these past 12 months. Lamborghini’s year has started with the Geneva Auto Show back in March when Aventador LP 750-4 SuperVeloce has been introduced. With a 6.5-litre V12 naturally aspirated engine boosting 750 HP (552 kW), mind the 400, cialis 000-dollar supercar needs only 2.8 seconds to go to 100 km/h (62 mph), which is making it 0.1 seconds faster than the regular Aventador. To prove its mighty power and light structure, the SV has managed to achieve a lap time of less than 7 minutes on Nurburgring, coming in seriously close to the hypercar segment, finishing in 6 minutes and 59.73 seconds and coming just 2 seconds slow than the Porsche 918 Spyder.
Then, it was time for Lamborghini to challenge the McLaren 650S Spider and the Ferrari 488 Spider by revealing the 602 HP 5.2-liter V10 Huracan LP-610-4 Spyder at the Frankfurt Show. It was followed by the “entry-level” two wheel-drive Huracan LP580-2 in November at LA Auto.
This year, the company also confirmed the production of its first ever sport utility vehicle – the Urus – which should reach dealerships across the world in 2018. The model will use the carmaker’s first turbo 4.0-litre V8 powertrain architecture.
However, the end of the year brought some surprising rumors, as reports says that former Ferrari F1 team boss Stefano Domenicali will become CEO at Lamborghini, as the current Sant’Agata Bolognese head Stephan Winkelmann will join Audi’s Quattro division.
