The British automotive journalists from Auto Express have recently went for a spin in the brand new Land Rover Discovery Sport.
If you had your eyes on the Freelander and now you are looking to buy the Land Rover Discovery Sport, than you have come to the right place because the model in question has been recently tested out by Auto Express. The brand new Land Rover Discovery Sport has been officially presented to the public on the Old Continent at the 2014 Paris Motor Show and a couple of months later it made its U.S. debut too, at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The vehicle has a design influenced by the Range Rover Evoque and it has received acoustic laminated windshield, front and rear skid plates, front fender vents, xenon headlights with LED DRL and so on. As far as the engine goes, the Land Rover Discovery Sport is being offered, at the moment, with a 2.0 liter turbocharged four-cylinder unit, with 240 HP (179 kW) and 338 Nm (250 lb-ft) of torque. The unit is sending power to the standard AWD through a 9-speed auto.
