Land Rover has released the first teaser video with the so-called Discovery Vision Concept, announcing the model for the 2014 New York Auto Show.
The new generation of the Discovery is known to be in development but before this will go official, Land Rover will present us a concept which will be offering us a first preview into the model. The vehicle in question has been named the Land Rover Discovery Vision Concept and it will be officially presented to the public during the 2014 New York Auto Show, later on this month.
“We have created the Vision Concept to share the essence of Land Rover’s new age of Discovery and to debut a new, compelling, relevant design direction that connects on an emotional level with customers of today and tomorrow”, said the chief creative officer and design director for Land Rover, Gerry McGovern.
The Land Rover Discovery Vision Concept has been designed in order to preview the styling direction of the new Discovery family and it’s promising some “emotive design” and “advanced technologies”. A rounded front fascia seems to be adopted by this one-off model, along with a stepped panoramic roof, a sweptback windscreen and more. Additional details on the Land Rover Discovery Vision Concept are limited for the moment and will be announced in New York.
