The British based automaker Land Rover has recently released a new video with the 2014 Range Rover Sport, which has set a new record during the 2013 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.
The 2013 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb has ended a few weeks back and this edition of the event didn’t lack fortunate and unfortunate events. In the first category we can mention Land Rover’s record braking for standard vehicles. The model used by Land Rover to shatter its competition, and not only, was a Range Rover Sport, in the new generation. The carmaker says that the popular SUV managed to complete the course in just 12 minutes and 35.61 seconds.
The popular SUV, in its new generation, managed to get an average speed of 59.17 mph, on the 12.42 mile long course and the vehicle completed the course in just 12 minutes and 35.61 seconds. The 2014 Range Rover Sport used on the 2013 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb was equipped with the large 5.0 liter supercharged V8 engine. The unit is good for 510 HP.
