[VIDEO] Land Rover teasing fastest Range Rover ever
The British based automaker Land Rover has released the first teaser video of the company’s fastest Range Rover model ever.
Land Rover will soon introduce the fastest ever Range Rover, which has been developed by the Special Vehicle Operations, owned by JLR. The model in question has been teased in a video which is shot at the famous Nurburgring race track where the vehicle has been tasted along with other performance cars worldwide. One of the main features of the clip posted below is that it is including a brief engine noise which will give us a hint on what we can find under its hood.
The fastest ever Range Rover, signed by Special Vehicle Operations, is expected to pack a 5.0 liter supercharged V8 engine, which is producing a total output of 542 HP. The unit in question was borrowed from the Jaguar XKR-S and from the XJR and it should allow the hot Range Rover Sport to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds. Rumors are saying that the Range Rover in question will be making its public debut at the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed and it should cost approximately 100,000 GBP.
