Mercedes-Benz has released a new promotional video with the recently unveiled Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe.
After being officially introduced just earlier this year, the new Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe is ending up in our news once again, this time with the help of yet another promotional video, which has been released by the 3-pointed star. The clip, which can be viewed below, is showing Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton taking it for a quick spin and it is highlighting some of the technologies borrowed from the F1 car.
As you probably already know by now, the is taking aim at the BMW X6 and it has a starting price of 66,699 euros, VAT included, on its local market. For the money, customers will be getting the GLE350d 4MATIC, which is followed by the GLE400 4MATIC, priced at 67,235 euros. The GLE450 AMG Sport 4MATIC can be bought from 75,803 euros, and the GLE 63 AMG 4MATIC costs 115,251 euros. For the range-topping version, the GLE63 S AMG 4MATIC, customers will have to pay 125,485 euros, and for the money they will be getting the 5.5 liter twin turbo V8 engine under the hood, which is rated at 577 HP at 5,500 rpm and 560 lb-ft of torque, available between 1,750 rpm and 5,250 rpm. The GLE 63 AMG has 549 HP and516 lb-ft, allowing it to reach 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds, with a top speed electronically limited to 250 km/h (155 mph). The GLE 63 S AMG needs 4.2s to reach 100 km/h.
