The LC500 is the flagship crown jewel for the Japanese brand for now – at least until the new generation LS sedan arrives at dealerships – and they’re sparing no expenses to showcase theyr model love.
For the annual extravaganza – the Super Bowl, taking place in 2017 on February 5 – we already know automakers are preparing their absolute best. After all, this has long been not only a major sporting event, but also one if the most important nights of the year for advertisers. Within the auto industry, Audi, Buick, Honda, Hyundai, Kia and Mercedes-Benz have all confirmed their official participation with a new spot. Lexus is jumping the gun though and already revealing one of the ads it has prepared for the New England Patriots versus Atlanta Falcons confrontation. In addition to the LC 500 ad, during the second quarter a 30-second version of the commercial will also take a peek at the 2018 LS 500.
Anyways, the one-minute version of the Man & Machine commercial depicts new LC 500 luxury coupe – but the show grabber this time around is dancer Lil Buck, performing some amazing movements, including walking on the walls. The spot also employs the song “Move Your Body” by the mysterious pop star Sia – and the coupe takes the spotlight back with shots of it sliding around an empty hangar to also show it can hoon, not just lux out.
