[VIDEO] Libyan rebels capture Muammar Gaddafi’s unique car
When talking about cars that belong to dictators we usually think at unique 7-door Ferraris that come with a standard lion in the trunk and big machine guns are coming out of the fenders. But when your name is Muammar Gaddafi, or Gheddafi as people recently found out, than besides making a lot of money and killing innocent people, you have a thing for eco-friendly cars.
In the race of capturing the Libyan dictator, rebels are stealing everything they can and this is how the Fiat 500 electric vehicle came to light. Yes, you read well, a Fiat 500 EV is Gaddafi’s unique car. What is even stranger is that the Italian automaker never released an “eco-friendly” version of the popular 500 model, but that didn’t stop the dictator to order one.
As you can see from the pictures the Fiat 500 doesn’t have any doors and it’s sitting on large 17 inch wheels, wearing a logo with the African Continent’s shape where Libya is marked with a green color.
Muammar Gaddafi isn’t a petrol-head, that’s for sure, but we must admit that the little Fiat 500 looks appealing. I wonder where the machine guns were fitted.
