Lotus has recently released a new presentation video with the Exige S, in which the model is being shown on the road, in action.
The newest model to be signed by Lotus is named the Exige S Roadster and the model will be introduced on the market later on this year, after it has made its public debut back in 2012, during the Geneva Motor Show. The vehicle in question is expected to become one of the most interesting models ever produced by the company and in order to place it into the spotlights once again, a new video with it has been released. The footage posted below is showing the Exige S in action, on the road, from just about every angle possible.
As a quick reminder, the Lotus Exige S Roadster will be powered by a 3.5 liter supercharged V6 engine, which will produce a total output of 345 HP (257 kW) and it will have a peak torque of 400 Nm (295 lb-ft). The unit will be mated to a six-speed manual or to an optional SPS (Series Precision Shift) transmission. When equipped with the manual gearbox, the Exige S Roadster will be able to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.1 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 233 km/h (145 mph). The average fuel consumption will stand at 10.1 L / 100 km (28 mpg UK / 23.3 mpg US).
