Formula 1 driver Marc Gene has recently went for a spin in the brand new Alfa Romeo 4C in Madrid, asking pedestrians if they want to go for a ride.
The Italian based automaker Alfa Romeo has managed to place the 4C into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of a new video, which is showing Formula 1 racing driver Marc Gene taking it for a spin. In the video posted below you can see Gene cruising the streets of Madrid, Spain, asking for random pedestrians if they want to go for a spin in the 4C. In the second part of the video you can see the Porsche Cayman rival in action, on the track.
As a quick reminder, the Alf Romeo 4C has been officially presented to the public during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, in March. The model will weigh just 895 kg and it will be powered by a 1.75 four-cylinder mid-mounted turbocharged unit, the same one from the Giulietta Quadrifoglio Verde, which is good for 237 HP in standard. The engine is mated to a twin-clutch TCT transmission, with steering wheel mounted paddle shifters. Top speed stands at 250 km/h (155 mph). The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in the 4C takes just 5.2 seconds. Average fuel consumption stands at 40 mpg (UK) and CO2 emissions stop at 150 g/km.
