[VIDEO] Maserati Alfieri roars its engine at Lake Como
A brand new video with the Maserati Alfieri Concept has just hit the web and it’s showing the one-off vehicle revving its engine at the Villa d’Este.
The Maserati Alfieri Concept has managed to capture our attention once again as the model in question has been recently presented, in a local premiere, during the 2014 Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, at Lake Como, Italy, over the past weekend. The vehicle can be seen, in the video posted below, while revving its engine and performing short accelerations. Maserati has officially introduced the Alfieri Concept, in a world premiere, back in March, during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. This is using the same chassis as the GranTurismo MC Stradale which has been shortened by 240 mm. Rumors are saying that the Italian based automaker will be soon launching a production version of the Alfieri which will become a direct rival for the Jaguar F-Type. This is said to ride on the same platform as the Ghibli and the Quattroporte and its power might come from the 3.0L V6 with 330 HP (243 kW) and 410 HP (310 kW).
