The Italian based automaker Maserati has recently released a new video with the Ghibli, in which the model is shown during a photo shoot.
The newest creation signed by the “trident” is named the Ghibli and the model was unveiled in a public display a few months ago, during the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show, in China. The Maserati Ghibli has also been brought to other automotive events across the globe these past few months and now it’s being placed into the spotlights once more, with the help of a new video. The footage posted below is showing the Ghibli during a photo shoot, through the eyes of the man holding the camera.
As a quick reminder, the Maserati Ghibli is the first ever model produced by the company which received a diesel engine. The unit has been co-developed with a former Ferrari chief motorist, Paolo Martinelli, and it’s coming as a 3.0L turbocharged V6, which is producing 275 HP (202 kW) and 600 Nm of torque (443 lb-ft). The 0 to 100 km/h sprint takes 6.3 seconds and the model is burning an average of 6.0L / 100km of fuel (47 mpg UK / 39.2 mpg US), and it’s emitting 160 g/km of CO2. The model is also getting a 330 HP and 500 Nm of torque 3.0 liter V6 twin-turbo gasoline engine. Both versions are mated to a ZF 8-speed automatic transmission.
