Maserati has recently introduced its most affordable vehicle money can buy, the Ghibli, in Malibu.
The Maserati Ghibli is being placed into the spotlights once again, after it was officially presented to the public over-seas, during the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show, just a couple of months ago, this time with the carmaker bringing the vehicle to Malibu. The Maserati Ghibli is an alternative to models like the BMW 5-Series, the Mercedes-Benz E-Class and the Audi A6, amongst others, and it has been officially presented to the public back in 2013. The Ghibli is also the first Maserati vehicle to get a diesel engine option.
The unit is being offered in the shape of a 3.0 liter turbocharged V6, which is producing a total output of 275 HP (202 kW) and 600 Nm (443 lb-ft) of torque. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration is made in 6.3 seconds in this version. The average fuel consumption stands at 6.0 liters every 100 km (47 mpg UK / 39.2 mpg US). There is also a 3.0 liter twin turbo V6 available, in two outputs, with 330 HP (243 kW) and 500 Nm of torque, and with 410 HP (301 kW) and 550 Nm of torque.
